  • Analytics data — Page views, session duration, device and browser information, and approximate geographic region, collected via Google Analytics 4.
  • Behavioral data — Session recordings, heatmaps, and click patterns, collected via HotJar (Contentsquare) to improve page usability.

We also collect information you voluntarily provide:

  • Contact form submissions — Your name, email address, and message content when you use the contact form.

Application

  • License validation — When you activate a Pro license, the app sends your license key to Gumroad's API to verify it. This check occurs once at activation and then approximately every 30 days. No other data is transmitted.
  • No telemetry — The app does not collect usage analytics, crash reports, or any other form of telemetry. Your encoding activity, file contents, and file paths are never transmitted.
  • Voluntary diagnostic logs — If you contact us for support, you may choose to share diagnostic logs. These logs contain your macOS version, hardware model, and clip file names. Sharing is entirely user-initiated — there is no way for the app to send logs automatically.

How We Use Your Information

  • Website analytics — To understand traffic patterns and improve the site experience.
  • Behavioral analytics — To identify usability issues and improve page layouts.
  • Contact form data — To respond to your inquiry or support request.
  • License validation — Solely to verify your Pro license status.
