Refund Policy

Effective August 9, 2026

We stand behind Parallel Media Encoder. If you run into a bug, or a combination of settings that doesn't work on your system, we're committed to making it work.

14-Day Refund Guarantee

If you experience an issue with Parallel Media Encoder that we are unable to resolve, you are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. Here's how it works:

  • Reach out. Report the problem through our Bug Report form and describe what's going wrong — the file or format you're working with, the settings you're using, and what you expected to happen. Screenshots, log output, or a sample clip help us reproduce it faster.
  • We'll work to fix it. Whether it's a bug or a specific combination of settings that fails on your machine, we'll do our best to get it working for you.
  • If we can't make it work, you get your money back. If we're unable to resolve the issue within the 14-day window, we'll issue a full refund — no hard feelings.

What's Covered

  • Bugs or crashes that prevent Parallel Media Encoder from working as described.
  • Specific setting combinations or source formats that fail on your system and can't be resolved.

What's Not Covered

  • Refund requests made more than 14 days after purchase.
  • Issues caused by hardware or software that doesn't meet the app's stated system requirements (macOS 14.5 or later and Apple Silicon).
  • Change of mind after the software has worked as intended for your use case.

How to Request a Refund

Submit a Bug Report within 14 days of purchase with your order details and a description of the issue. We'll respond promptly and work with you toward a resolution or a refund. Refunds are processed through Gumroad, our payment processor, back to your original payment method.
